Dada Mkuu Organization

“Dada Mkuu” is a Swahili term that translates to “Head Girl.” This refers to a young female leader who plays a significant role in school settings. The Dada Mkuu serves as a role model and mentor, effectively communicates and liaises with other students, represents their voices, and creates a connection between teachers or school leaders and the student body. She also leads and organises her fellow student leaders, fostering teamwork among them.

We are dedicated to empowering underserved adolescents and young people, particularly young women, by fostering leadership, enhancing health awareness, promoting economic resilience, and amplifying voices through digital storytelling.
